Christian Distinctiveness and SIAMS

We are proud to be a Church of England school with strong partnerships with our local parish and beyond. Our Christian vision and values underpin the decisions we make and the actions we take to support every child and adult member of our school community to thrive.

The websites below will provide more information about the Oxford Diocese and what it means to be a 21st century church school.

SIAMS Inspection

Alongside OFSTED, there is a separate inspection process for church schools called 'Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools' (SIAMS). These inspections follow a timetable independent of Ofsted and happen every 5 years for schools rated good or outstanding.  The principal objective of the inspection is to evaluate the distinctiveness and effectiveness of the school as a church school.

The evaluation schedule has one inspection question: How effective is the school's distinctive Christian vision, established and promoted by leadership at all levels, in enabling pupils and adults to flourish?

We are pleased to share the report from our most recent inspection in July 2023 in which we were graded GOOD with you - please click on the link below.

We have continued to develop and grow our school, building on strong Christian foundations.
