Exploratorium

This site is filled with a range of activities created by the internationally acclaimed ‘Exploratorium’ museum in San Francisco, California. The Exploratorium isn't just a museum; it is an ongoing exploration of science, art, and human perception. Children can explore the vast collection of online experiences to feed their curiosity and find a range of educational resources supporting online teaching and learning.

Science Kids

Science Kids is an excellent interactive learning website that helps to open children’s minds to the wonders of science. Children will find a variety of games covering subjects from living things to physical processes and everything in between. One particularly useful game asks children to design and build a virtual electrical circuit; great for learning about electricity!

Annenberg Learner

Annenberg Learner Interactive is a great resource for teaching children about Earth Science related topics with engaging graphics and other interactive content that will help build on the knowledge learnt in class. Although the site is primarily designed for teachers, children can access the collection of interactive images and games which help to bring the subject alive.

NatGeo Kids

This site is a fantastic science resource that both educates and inspires children to appreciate the wonders of science. Children can spend hours exploring the extensive collection of interactive activities, videos, games and information pages made for children of all ages. National Geographic Kids’ site is also broken down into manageable small sections making it easier for pupils to navigate the site and locate a specific area of learning.
