At Wheatley, every teacher in the school uses Class Dojo as a tool to develop and promote a positive classroom culture. On Dojo, each child has their own avatar and is awarded Dojo points when they demonstrate one of our identified positive learning behaviours. For example, a child may receive a point for accepting a challenge, demonstrating resilience or being ready to learn. Dojo points can be exchanged for Dojo money which can be spent at our school's Dojo shop.
Dojo can also be used as a learning tool in KS1 if needed.

Dojo can also be used as a tool for setting home learning, which children can then respond to via their individual portfolio. The individual portfolio is on the Dojo platform. Children can respond to home learning tasks and submit these to the class teacher. The teacher is able to view their response, approve it and provide feedback on the learning.

To download the Dojo App, visit the google play or app store on your device. You will receive an invite to link your account to your child and their teacher. Once you have linked the parent account with your child, you will be able to access all of Dojo's functions.
