These is where we plan the final, innovated outcome together – still using our 3 stage modelling technique to utilise all the work, the grammar skills and the vocabulary from the previous stages to produce a final plan for their own piece of writing.
Teachers and children draft each section of a plan together on whiteboards, giving the opportunity to share ideas including; the rich vocabulary from the original text, the grammar aspects learnt, the feedback given through the short burst writes, magpie-ing, making improvements and reviewing against the children’s original success criteria.
