Welcome to KS1 Mulberry, Sycamore and Chesnut's learning page. On this page, you will be able to find out what we are planning to learn about this term. You will also be able to access key curriculum documents along with home learning resources that will enable you to support your child at home.

PE âšŊī¸â›šī¸‍♀ī¸

On PE days your child should come to school wearing their PE kit (white t-shirt with navy blue or black shorts or jogging bottoms AND trainers/plimsoles). We have PE twice a week.

Mulberry, Sycamore & Chestnut - Monday outdoor)

Mulberry & Sycamore - Tuesday (indoor) 

Chestnut - Friday (indoor)

Every Friday we do a reading raffle in each class, to help motivate our children to read at home. To be entered into our weekly raffle, please ensure that your child's reading diaries are filled in and signed by a Friday.

KS1 2024-2025 ✨

Home Learning:

Please ensure that home learning is completed each week. 

 

  • Reading 📚
    • Please read a minimum of 5 times per week.
    • Records of your child's reading will need to be sent to Class Dojo each week along with any comments about how well they are word reading and comprehending. They will then be entered into the raffle.
  • Maths ➕➖✖ī¸âž—
    • Numbots, please log on at least 3 times a week for 10 minutes each time. Weekly certificates will be presented in each Fridays assembly. 
    • Please count everyday (in the useful documents section there are some suggested counting activities).  Records of this will need to be sent via Class Dojo.
