Curriculum Overview
Physical education at Wheatley follows the Year A, Year B cycle that is used across the school curriculum. To secure maximum pupil engagement, we work hard to link our PE lessons to broader topics and themes, such as a gymnastics unit ‘Under the Sea’ to link with a Year 1/2 Geography Oceans topic, a Roman dance unit linked to a year 3/4 History topic or a Year 5/6 running unit in combination with the annual PTA sponsored walk.
