Don't forget - Wheatley Sports Week is 6-10th July!

This week, our learning in school and at home is sports-based, including our English and Maths! All of the information, work and resources can be found on the 'Home Learning' tab, or click here!

School Closure Home Learning

From Monday, 23rd March, in light of the school closing, we will be uploading activities for you and your child to do at home. We hope this helps in many ways: continuing your child's learning, during this time away from school, offering some ideas of things to do at home together and maintaining an element of routine at home throughout this time.

We hope you enjoy your learning together at home.

Please feel free to use your Busy Books to complete any work. You will have been sent instructions on how/where to email any work you want to share with us:

olive@wheatley.oxon.sch.uk for Miss Jawed or willow@wheatley.oxon.sch.uk for Mrs Bridge.

We look forward to seeing what you've been learning about at home and hearing how you're all getting on.

Take care all and thanks for your support.

Mrs. Bridge, Miss Jawed, Miss Hanlon, Mrs. Taylor and Mrs. Slater

Visual Timetables

Below are a couple of visual timetables. They may help to structure you days at home.

Also, please keep reading at home, as well as practising your phonics (Phase sound mats are in your Busy Books remember) and reading and writing tricky words (from your castle sheets in your Busy Books).

It would also be great if you could practise your correct letter formation, as we know many of you find this quite hard (see the sheet below for correct formation).

Term 6

I can't believe it's the final term of the school year.

We've all had a lot of change recently, having to get our heads around new ways of doing things.  Thank you to all of you for sending in photos of your Home Learning. It's been lovely to feel like we're still 'together', even if it's not in school at the moment.

Some of us may be in school this week, whilst others will carrying on learning at home. Mrs. Evenhuis will continue with Home Learning activities and keeping in touch via email. So until we're all together again, stay kind, stay ready and stay safe.
