Microsoft 365 is a comprehensive suite of apps that enable teachers to deliver a full complement of learning content remotely. Microsoft Teams is one of these apps. At Wheatley, we use Microsoft Teams for all virtual meetings involving staff and families. All children have accounts for this purpose and, as they move in to Key Stage 2, they will begin to use Teams for a wider range of uses, including to support their learning in the classroom and at home.
Teachers set evening and weekend home learning activities via Teams which children can access at home, complete, return and receive feedback from their teacher.
In the event of a full or partial school closure, Teams is used by Key Stage 2 staff as a means of delivering the full curriculum.
